Surroundings

• The picturesque Iznajar with its authentic houses and streets is a 5-minute drive away. There is an old Moorish castle that you can visit. The village offers fantastic views of the largest reservoir in Andalusia, where you can sail, kayak or relax on the beach.
• Villanueva de Tapia, a typical Spanish village, is also a 10-minute drive away and has numerous shops and restaurants.
• The larger towns of Rute and Archidona are 20 minutes away and offer everything you could wish for: supermarkets, restaurants and bars, parks and squares, sports facilities such as padel, a public swimming pool, tennis, etc.
• The house offers a good home base for a day trip to beautiful Granada and Malaga (1 hour drive), to Cordoba with its Mezquita and charming streets (1.5 hours), the Sierra Nevada where you can ski in winter (1.5 hours), or the famous Caminito del Rey (just over an hour).
• The airport of Malaga is about an hour away.
